Staff and management from Alliance combined to hit a home run again this year, donating more than $18,000 to BC Children’s Hospital through their participation in the annual Softball Tournament.

“We always have a lot of fun in the tournament but we take the fundraising part of this very seriously,” says Alliance President Don Crane. “It’s a charity that’s near and dear to the hearts of all of our staff because of the fantastic work that their doctors and nurses do.”

The Alliance team has taken part in the tournament for close to a decade now, making sure that the event involves family and friends each time.

“Our results on the field are typically not as successful as our fundraising,” says Don. “But it’s a big part of how we like to give back to the community for the success we’ve had as a company over the years.”
